In relation to the former commander of the Defense Army, Lieutenant General J.Harutyunyan's criminal prosecution on the counterattack episode of October 7, 2020 was terminated on the basis of an acquittal verdict.
About 306-page expert opinion of the military-scientific commission of 11 experienced military experts was unanimously established that in the actions of J.Harutyunyan, there is no corpus delicti in the counterattack episode, the latter acted conscientiously, vigilantly and competently during the counterattack.
Despite the fact that it is obvious from the content of the expert opinion that J. Harutyunyan's guilt regarding the losses incurred as a result of the enemy attack on the D-20 division of the Tcori military unit on October 12, 2020, is clearly absent, and that responsibility for this lies entirely with the command of the D-20 division, unfortunately, in this part the criminal prosecution has not been terminated, which causes serious concern.
