In November 2025, a citizen of the Republic of Georgia, R.J., applied to the LSA Law Firm. Upon entering the Republic of Armenia, he had been detained on the grounds of being under search by the Russian Federation; however, he was released on the same day due to the absence of a preventive measure involving deprivation of liberty imposed against him in the requesting state.
After assuming the defense of R.J.’s rights and considering the motion submitted by the attorneys, and given that the requesting state failed to initiate extradition proceedings within the установленed time limit, the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia ensured R.J.’s right to freedom of movement, enabling him to leave the Republic of Armenia. Our client R.J. returned to his country of citizenship.
